Feeding our Cincinnati neighbors since 2008
Project Downtown is a non-profit community service organization serving Cincinnati, Ohio. Our mission is to provide essential services for the homeless and disadvantaged segments of Cincinnati.
Thanks so much for this lunch. I haven’t eaten in three days. I know it doesn’t mean that much to you guys, but it means so much to me.
Every Sunday in Clifton, Cincinnati volunteers of every age make sandwiches, pack lunches and head downtown together.
Our story
Project Downtown began with a few students in Miami who refused to look away from their homeless neighbors. They gathered what little they had and showed up every week — not just with food, but to listen and to remember people society had forgotten.
In 2008, that same spirit came to Cincinnati.
